Distribution Value Stream Manager - Clintonville, Wisconsin
The Value Stream Manager will play a key part in our goal of having an efficient, effective distribution system that meets our customer needs by eliminating waste every day.  This is accomplished by finding ways to shorten lead-time, reduce inventory and reduce cost using PDCA in spite of any variable volume and economic downturn.  The Value Stream Manager will be responsible for overall management of the entire distribution value stream for the consumer side of the business.  This position ensures that all products are shipped on time, at the right quantity, at the best cost, and to the shipping specifications of the specific customer. The Value Stream Manager will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy for all areas of responsibility.  This position is responsible for the safety of all associates reporting to the role.  The individual must work to drive cost out of the departments that report to this role through continuous improvement efforts.  She/he must work collaboratively with the other sites (including the Food Service distribution function) to take advantage of synergy opportunities and share best practices.
